It seems silly, but I want to know why your gas is so much cheaper than mine. It is nearly $2 again here! BTW-a former roommate filled up at 7-11 and her car had MAJOR problems. She said the mechanic explained that the only thing that could have happened was that she used gas that was watered down...
Lucky, our gas is $1.75 and our milk(on sale) is $3.39. I know I would buy chevron over 7-11, maybe not for a 20 cent/per gallon difference. Many people have negative feelings against 7-11. As for me I feel like Chevron works better in my car overall.
It has been proven that no matter where you fill up the gas is all the same. BUT....with how things have been as of late there may be a lot of cheating out there. I certainly hope not though. Dishonesty sucks!
I have to say I have filled up at this particular 7-eleven tons of times and have never had a problem with the gas. However, I think that the reputation on the East Coast may be a little more tainted.
We once had a major problem with gas at a no-name station - there was water in their tank (although no fault of there's). The company ended up paying for the repairs to my car (in excess of $400). It was a fluke, but it was the only time I had a problem.
sorry to turn this political,I know Chevron is trying to clean up it's image, but they have a history of working closely with Hugo Chavez(and other questionable characters)..I know, every company has to worry about their bottom line, but they have been Chavez's puppet for several political interests here in the US, and I can't support them...they are a US based company, but their allegiance is not for this country...Don't know about 7-11...wouldn't touch their gas with a ten foot pole! (I'm in the east, can you tell?)
